After 20 years of existence, shipping containers to Cuba and, in 2023, to Ghana, a chapter has closed and a new project is born!

During my trip to Ghana in 2017, I became aware of the situation of disabled and abandoned children, left to their fate near a river or in the jungle. The cause is poverty in northern Ghana and the lack of institutions.

Having a son with Down Syndrome, I was even more affected. The idea of a home for them took root, and today, in 2026, we have our official licence as an NGO in Ghana and a land to build on!

In this region, there are no places for children with disabilities. Our project aims to give them a home, a place where they can thrive, where we can meet their specific needs and reconnect with their families.

The home for children with disabilities is under construction near a regional hospital and benefits from excellent infrastructure.

This project is strongly endorsed and actively supported by the Ghana Ministry of Health. Help us to save the lives of these children! Thanks to your donation, this project will come to fruition as soon as possible!

With appropriate support and education, most persons with disabilities can

• improve their living conditions
• fully integrate and stay in their family
• support families in their daily lives

We want to make this support accessible to disabled and needy children in Ghana.

To build our future home for 50 disabled children, we need CHF 60,000 to start construction.
